  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or paprika)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup celery, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Crab Meat

  1. If using imitation crab, shred it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. If using real lump crab meat, check for any shell pieces and gently break it apart.

Step 2: Make the Dressing

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.

Step 3: Combine Everything

  1. Add the chopped crab, celery, red onion, and parsley to the bowl.

Step 4: Chill & Serve

  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  2. Serve chilled on crackers, croissants, in a sandwich, lettuce cups, or as a side dish.

Tips & Variations

  • Make it spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few dashes of hot sauce.
  • Add crunch: Mix in diced bell peppers or sliced cucumbers.
  • Make it extra creamy: Stir in 1 tablespoon of sour cream.
  • Low-carb option: Serve in lettuce wraps instead of bread.
