This creamy and tangy blue cheese dressing is perfect for salads, dipping wings, or even spreading on burgers. It’s quick to make and tastes far better than store-bought!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (or regular milk for a milder taste)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (plus more for garnish, if desired)
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

1. Mix the Base:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth.

2. Add Blue Cheese:

  • Gently fold in the crumbled blue cheese. Mash some of the cheese into the mixture if you prefer a chunkier texture.

3. Season:

  • Stir in white vinegar (or lemon juice), garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

4. Adjust Consistency:

  • Add more buttermilk if the dressing is too thick, or let it chill in the refrigerator if you prefer it thicker.

5. Chill and Serve:

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. Serve cold.

How to Use:

  • Salads: Drizzle over a wedge salad or use it as a dressing for mixed greens.
  • Dipping Sauce: Serve with buffalo wings, chicken tenders, or veggie sticks.
  • Burgers or Sandwiches: Spread on buns for an extra tangy flavor.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir before each use.

This rich and flavorful blue cheese dressing is a must-have for your kitchen.
